A few years ago I went to visit Northview Church in Carmel, Indiana.  Each room in the Northview kids area was themed for the appropriate age group.  Here are some of the pics from our church tour.

They had slides to get from the upper lever to the lower level. There was a camera at the bottom of the slide so the parents could see that their child arrived at the bottom of the slide safely.  The slide went directly into the kids’ room.  There was also a camera at the top of the slide so the child could see their parents waving goodbye.  TV monitors at the entrance and exit of each slide allowed the kids and parents to view each other when they waved goodbye.  Each slide also had a plastic cover so the slide could be closed if the room was closed.

The stages in each room had a screen for multi-media.  The screen could be up or down if it was needed or not.

Some rooms had built in risers for kids to sit on with enough space to stand and move to the music.  The kids could all see the stage and what was happening at the front.

The Northview kids area had play spaces that were creative & fun in each room.  I’m sure the preschoolers loved playing in the spaces that were just the right size for them.  Everything from a log cabin to a pirate ship and a climbing structure to help get their energy out.
